"Tucked in between vineyards – harmoniously embedded in the gentle hills of Schiltern near Langenlois – lies one of Austria’s most beautiful garden attractions, created for garden lovers with artisan pride and passion by Reinhard Kittenberger, his family and his team. The imaginatively designed show gardens inspire days out in the country and awaken garden joy.“ This is correct, but only half the truth of Kittenberger Erlebnisgärten. A large part of this park is an adventure playground for kids of all ages (1-99 years) unrivalled in Lower Austria and beyond.
Experience the path of the grape from the grape vine to the bottle. At more than 11 stations, artists carry you off into a world full of mysticism, modern technology and tradition, in which everything revolves around the grape vine and its precious juice. The cellar corridors are over one kilometre long and they tell you everything about wine, its development and creation. Chat with the vintners on site and look over their shoulders when they press the grapes.
Fridolin the cellar mouse will guide the kids through this great attraction.
Aqualand Moravia is a water park and spa in Southmoravia (Czech Republic): Why would we recommend a destination, that is a 90 minutes drive from the ad vineas Gästehaus? Because our kids love it, because Mikulov is a nice little historic town and last but not least because we love Czech beer.
For more information go to Aqualand Moravia's homepage, but please keep this secret.
