Here in Mautern we weren't affected by the water at all. Generally, it was "normal" flooding on the Danube. All villages in the Wachau are now protected by (mobile) flood dams and there is a routine in setting up the precautionary measures.
In the meantime, the sun is shining, all roads in the Wachau are open again and access is possible as usual.
However, the B33 on the north side of the Danube remains closed to traffic until further notice due to the rockslide in June, here is a local diversion.
