Visiting the Wachau Wine Spring is very uncomplicated. On both days of the event you can drop by the specified wineries between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. without prior registration. The offer and the process of the tasting vary depending on the winemaker's circumstances, but there is always the possibility of tasting several wines from the 2023 vintage.
You can get the wine spring ribbon for €30. It entitles you to taste the wines on offer and also allows you to use the Wachau bus lines, the Wachaubahn and the Danube ferries free of charge on both days of the event.
On the wine spring weekend you can get the entry wristband at all participating wineries, at the Wachaubahn and at the tourism information points in Spitz, Krems and Melk.

In addition to the regular VOR travel times, repeater buses are used, so that a bus connection every 30 minutes is available on the Krems - Spitz - Krems and Krems - Oberarnsdorf - Krems routes. An hourly bus connection to Viessling will be available in Spitzer Graben.
The host regions of Mosel, Nahe and Rheingau are connected to the Wachau not only by Riesling, but also by the steep slopes as a unique cultural landscape, which we would like to make tangible during the wine spring. 19 guest wineries will present their wines at the Wachau Wine Spring.
On the Saturday evening, there will be a celebration of dance and music in Spitz. Three bars will be offering wines from Wachau and our guest regions.
